![]() We’re just supposed to see him as a wonderful guy because he thinks rape is wrong? What a low bar. And we weren’t given any indication that his views on women and sexism had changed. He didn’t believe Grace until he saw an actual movie of the rape. ![]() “Don’t girls know that there’s a fine line between being raped and asking for it?” And there are gray areas when it comes to rape.? This guy was so problematic. And the so-called hero also holds some incredibly misogynistic views, like the ever so popular “she dresses like that, so she must have been asking for it”. ![]() “How can I be a slut, don’t sluts like having a lot of sex?” is something she asks at one point. Grace herself doesn’t seem to have any issues with women being called sluts, only with the fact that she’s being called one, cause she isn’t one. Absolutely everyone in this story, including the protagonist and the so-called hero, has some despicable views on women. ![]() *spoilers* So disappointed with this book. ![]()
